My opinion on campus security
According to recent reports, an increasing number of crimes have taken place on campus. Universities around the world are facing security problems such as theft, fraud, violence, sexual harassment, fire disaster and traffic accident etc, which seriously affect students’ school lives and make students live in fear.
Campus security does have a serious effect on our students’ life. For example, theft and robbery can lead to financial difficulties and increase juvenile delinquency. In addition, things are stolen all the time, there can be worries and horrors among students, which will do harm to study. More severely, they can distrust each other.
Therefore, it is high time that we should take actions to improve its current situation. Firstly, schools should organize emergency drills regularly. Secondly, equipment like monitors should be installed on campus so as to detect crimes as soon as possible. Most importantly, we might have to nip something in the bud before it becomes a problem. We should strengthen college students’ ideological and political education, pay attention to their mentality health and give timely help if they need.
With our endeavor, campus security will be improved greatly, and will be holy places where one can enjoy peaceful and harmonious atmosphere again.(204字)
